摘要
汉语和英语都有大量的性别歧视语。这种语言现象的出现主要是由于文化和社会对语言的影响作用。性别歧视只要在现实中存在,就必然会在语言中有所反映,在词源、构词、词的用法和词义四个方面表现尤为突出。
Both Chinese and English have many sexism-related words. Since discrimination exists in culture and society, it is definitely reflected in languages. The analysis of sexism-related words in both languages from the perspective of word origin, word formation, word usage and word connotation shows that social discrimination against women is the root cause of sexism in both languages.
