Three Stages on the Formation of Deng Xiaoping's Ethno-economy Thought

邓小平民族经济思想的形成,大体上经历了三个发展阶段,即20世纪50年代,提出“要把少数民族地区经济搞上去,否则民族区域自治是句空话”;20 世纪80 年代,提出“加强基础设施建设,因地制宜地发展民族地区经济”;20世纪80年代末到90年代初,提出“两个大局,实现共同富裕”的思想。

The formation of Deng Xiaoping's economic thought has experienced three stages, namely in the 1950s he put forward that we should develop the economy in the minority nationality areas otherwise the regional national autonomy was a idle talk; in the 1980s he proposed that the elementary facilities should be strengthened and the economy in the national areas needed to be developed suited to local conditions; since the end of 1980s to the early 1990s, he advanced the thought of 'two overall situation and getting mutual prosperous'.
