By the method of literary consultation,the paper studies the essential qualities of PE teachers in the new stage.The PE teachers should have qualities of distinguished morality and professional ethics,healthy psychological and physical condition.They also should have modern original teaching ideas,ability of organization and training,abilities of obtaining and applying new knowledge quickly,knowledge of medical care and public relationship,ability of applying new knowledge comprehensively and creativity and so on.
