The paper discusses the method of top grafting golden pear on Dangshan pear and studies the effect of pinching with different methods. It shows that it will improve both the rate of flower bud differentiation and fruit bearing to keep the top grafting trees small canopies and a small quantity of storeyed branches and pinch horizontal branches slightly.
