摘要
大众艺术本身,就是一种“后现代”的美学。在美学史的前现代及现代阶段,理论家们对“美学”学科的理解一直是片面、狭窄的,集中表现在将理性与感性、艺术与生活、内容与形式、作者与读者主观“放对”,人为地将之置入到几个“二元”结构系统中去。大众艺术则反对这样的“美学”,甚至反对任何一种企图借“规范”之名施“约束”之实的理论。但在对传统和现代主义“二元”理路的实践性反驳中,它依然表彰了一种“后现代”的美学观。
Popular art is in effect a kind of post-modernist esthetics. In the pre-modern and modern stages of the history of esthetics, the understanding of theorists in relation to 'esthetics' as a disciple was one-sided and narrow, as shown in the subjective pairing of the rational and the perceptual, art and life, content and form, writer and reader. The popular art, on the contrary, is opposed to the above-mentioned esthetic theory, and to the theory of 'restriction' in the name of 'regularization'. While refuting the practicality of the traditional and modernist dualism, it remains to give a hand-clap to post-modernist esthetics.
