视频会议作为一种先进的通信手段,因为能节约会议成本,减小因距离因素而产生的与会者之间的隔阂,完美再现实地会议的效果,现在已广泛被众多跨国公司、跨地区企业和国家政府机关所采用。如何提高视频会议系统的服务质量已经成为困扰众多视频会议使用者的问题。通过对目前主流的H.323标准视频会议的体系架构、组网方案、局域网服务质量保障(QoS)和广域网服务质量保障的研究,论述了IPQoS的解决途径和实施方法。

Video conference as one of the advanced telecommunication tools,has been widely used by multinational conglomerates,across regional corporations and government agencies.The major reasons behind this phenomenon include the benefits of cost saving and minimizing the distance effect between the conferences participates.Using video conference can fully achieve the same effects as of the face by face meetings.How to improve the quality of the service of the video conference systems has been becoming an issue and concern that is facing the numerous video conference users.This article introduces the framework and networking solution of the current mainstream video conference standard (H.323),and also presentes the IP QoS solution roadmap and implementation approaches in respect of Local Area Network quality of services (QoS) and Wide Area Network quality of services.
