分析了网格的产生和概念,重点介绍了五层沙漏体系结构和开放网格服务体系结构,并就网格在分布式超级计算机、分布式仪器系统、数据密集型计算、远程沉浸和信息集成等方面的应用进行了分析并提出信息集成将是网格发展的主要方向。

This paper first analyzes the producing and the concept or grid, then emphasis introduced the Five Layers Hourglass Architecture and the Open Grid Service Architecture. Finally, analyzed the grid's applications in Distributed Supercomputing, Distributed Instrumentation System, Data Intensive Computing, Tele-immersion and Information Integrated, and then put forward that Information Integrated will be the main development of grid.
