Synthesis of 4-octanoxy benzoic acid

本文合成了液晶聚合物的中间物4 -辛氧基苯甲酸。以正辛醇为原料,合成1-溴辛烷,并将1-溴辛烷与对羟基苯甲酸甲酯反应,然后水解,得到了4 -辛氧基苯甲酸。对其合成的中间产物的结构进行了表征。

4-octanoxy benzoic acid was synthesized in this paper. 1-bromooctane was manufactured by n -octanol as material, and reacted with methyl o -hydroxybenzoate, the 4-octanoxy benzoic acid was obtained. The structure of result and intermediate were confirmed by IR spectra.
