The Ethics of “Harmony of Man with Heaven” In Confucianism

天人关系是中国传统哲学的基本问题。儒家所讲的“天人合一”主要是指道德价值意义上的合一,包含两个方面的伦理意蕴:一是人性与天道的统一;一是人生理想的天人调谐。可以说,儒家的天人观正是中国传统社会人生哲学的精华所在。

The relationship between Heaven and Man is a basic theory of Chinese traditional philosophy . The main idea of “Harmony of Man with Heaven” is a moral integration . It includes two meanings in ethics: one is the unity of Human Nature and heavenly laws , the other is harmony of Heaven and Man in the ideal of life . We could say that the main idea of Heaven and Man in Confucianism is the cream of our traditional culture about philosophy of life .
