Brief Discussion on Zhuangzi's Relativism

庄子的相对主义表现为对认识客体的怀疑、对认识主体的怀疑、对主客体之间关系的怀疑和对认识标准的怀疑四个方面。庄子的相对主义尽管有一定的局限,但对中国哲学的发展也有着巨大贡献。

Zhuangzi's relativism gives full expression in four respects, namely a doubt to the cognitive object, a doubt to the cognitive subject, a doubt to the relationship between subject and object and a doubt to the cognitive standard. Although Zhuangzi's relativism has some limitations, yet it has made substantial contributions to the development of Chinese philosophy.
