故宫六品佛楼诸尊名号考释例举——以梵华楼、宝相楼为基础

Research on the Titles and Names of Deities in the Six Buddhist Temples (Liupin Folou) of the Forbidden City: Focus on Fenhua Lou and Baoxiang Lou

故宫现存的两座六品佛楼——梵华楼、宝相楼所供的唐卡和铜造像中尊神的汉、藏文名号十分丰富,本文重点分析了尊神名号的汉藏文题刻错误、汉译名的不准确性以及东西方学者在复原其梵文名号时的一些错误,并作了修正,为拓展乾隆时期清宫六品佛楼的研究方向作了有益的尝试。

This paper begins by examining the Chinese and Tibetan titles of deities that appear in the thangkas or as statuary in two of the six Buddhist temple complexes of the Forbidden City – Fenhua Lou and Baoxiang Lou. The author focuses on an analysis of errors in the Sino-Tibetan names inscribed on the articles themselves, methods of transcribing Tibetan names into Chinese and the errors often made by Western scholars who attempt to restore the original Sanskrit names of these deities. This is a pioneering study in a new ?eld of research focusing on these Buddhist halls in the imperial palace of the Qianlong reign.
