关于设置工程管理专业方向的思考

Thinking about the setting of engineering management major directions

现行本科专业目录下的工程管理具有较宽的专业口径,按此规格培养的学生具有广泛的适应性。分方向招生或培养又走回了专业口径狭窄、知识单薄、技能单一的老路,不利于学生综合能力与素质的培养,也不符合现代社会、经济、科技、文化及教育发展的趋势,不适应社会主义市场经济和改革开放的需要。

Engineering management speciality under nowadays university major catalogue has a wide caliber.Bachelors educated under the catalogue can be adapt to many kinds of jobs. In that sense,enrolling and educating students in different directions mean going back to the former way of education characterized 'narrow caliber', lacking of wide knowledge,simple technology. It is bad for the development of ability and quality of the students and can not keep up with the changing of the modern society ,economy,science,culture ,and education. what'more ,this kind of education can not meet the need of our marketing economics and our opening policy.
