Reform by King Hailing of Jin Dynasty and moving capital to Yanjing

海陵王完颜亮是金朝历史上一位特殊的人物,也是颇有争议的人物。在他统治时期进行了一系列的社会改革:政治上设官分职,打破选用官吏的民族界线,推行科举制;经济上注重农业生产,兴修水利,减轻农民负担;思想与文化方面推崇儒学,吸收中原先进封建文化;迁都燕京。这些措施为后继者进行封建化改革奠定了基础。

Wanyanliang,King Hailing of Jin Dynasty,was a specical and debatable person in the history.During his reign,King Hailing carried out some social reforms,such as: in the political aspect,broke the bounds of nationalitiesin choosing officials and introduced the imperial examination system,attached great importance to the agricultural production and water conservancy construction,reduced farmers's burdens;held confucian theory inesteem and drew on the Zhongyuan's feudal culture ;moved capital to Yanjing city.All these strategies laid the groundwork for his successor's feudalization reform.
