水玻璃砂硬化的新概念

The New Conception about the Hardening of Silicate-bonded Sand

论述了ＣＯ２硬化工艺的传统概念，提出了水玻璃砂硬化新概念。水玻璃砂硬化法。烘硬法、ＶＲＨ法、有机酯自硬法和ＣＯ２硬化法，都有相同的硬化机理，硬化的直接原因都是脱水，而不是化学反应；硬化后的终强度主要来源于未反应的水玻璃的脱水，所以本质上都是物理硬化。

The traditional ideas of CO2 setting process was discussed and the newconception of hardening of silicate-bonded sand was proposed.All the settingprocesses covering heat setting, VRH process,ester selfsetting and CO2 process have identical hardening mechanism.The setting process can be regardedas a form of dehydration, not chemical reaction and their final strengthafter hardening depends mainly on the dehydrations of the unracted sodiumsilicate,therefore they are all esselltially physical hardening.
