The combination of stereolithography prototype with conventional casting methods has resulted some new kind of manufacturing techniques called quick cast process.The outstanding feature of the technique include simple technology,short production runs,reduced product cost and no special equipment needed,which is suitable for rapidly manufacturing precision castings with complicated contour in jobbing applications.The quick cast process based on stereolithography is expected to be widely applied in industry.
