摘要
虽然学习方式与外语学习的关系研究存在一定的局限性,但学习方式研究对改善外语教学仍有一定的指导作用。文章从学习方式的性别差异、学习方式的文化差异、教学方式和学习方式的匹配、计算机辅助教学、学习方式和学习策略的训练等五个方面阐述了改善外语教学的具体措施,认为在诊断和匹配学习方式时应持慎重态度,在实践中重要的是识别不同学习者的学习方式,并最大限度地发挥学习者各种学习方式的优势。
Though some limitations exist in the relationship between learning style and foreign language learning, the research on learning style brings about important implications on foreign language teaching. Based on learning style differences, measures of improving foreign language teaching are elucidated from five aspects including gender difference, cultural difference, matching teaching style and learning style, computer aided teaching, and learning style and learning strategy training. Besides, it is also argued in this article that cautions should be taken in the diagnosis of learning style and the match of teaching style with learning style, of which the crux in practice lies on identifying learners' learning style and taking the advantages of each style.
