Probability estimate of hitting a group of three-dimensional targets of random orientation using a rectangular drill network is deliberated. The targets represent several orebodies of arbitrary shape. The problem is too complicated to be solved analytically. The author used numerical integral method. Some major difficulties in computation have been coped with. FORTRAN program for the problem runs on a MV/4000 computer. Trial examples include a cubic target and its partitioned parts for program test, as well as a group of plate orebodies with a constraint orientation to imitate a real situation.
