The requirement for openness of air conditioner control systems in system integration of buildings is discussed,and the characteristic of the LonWorks technology and the applicability of the LonWorks technology in building control systems are introduced. An open control system of air conditioners based on the LonWorks technology,which is a practical intelligent engineering project in a college town,is established,and the functions of the system are described. The practice shows that the air conditioner control system is open,flexible,convenient and practical.
