A Discussion on the Non-governmental Form of Consumer Right Protection

我国消费者权益保护组织体制上的官方和半官方性质制约了其功能的发挥,有必要向民间化转轨。为此一与面要充分发挥市场机制的作用,一方面要推动权力的社会化和多元化。应开展体制内和体制外两种路径改革,建立适宜的法律机制,推动此类组织民间化的健康进行。

Since the function of the consumer-right-protection organization h as been restricted by its official and half-official characteristics, it is nec essary to transform it to non-governmental direction. So, on one hand, we shoul d make full use of the function of the market system. One the other hand, we sho uld prompt the socialization and pluralism of the right. Therefore, we should ca rry out the reforms both in and out of the system, build up suitable law system, and promote the healthy development of the consumer-right-protection organiza tion in non-governmental direction.
