人口结构失衡、性别比过高已经严重影响到重庆的社会和经济发展。重庆市各辖区人口性别比与当地的经济发展状况以及人们的思想解放程度成负相关关系。要解决这一社会问题,必须对人们进行观念引导、法律规范、政策扶持,改变这些地方落后的经济现状,进而转变人们的思想观念。

The unbalanced ratio of male and female has been quite harmful to the economic development of Chongqing municipality.The sex ratio in these areas (cities,districts,counties) within Chongqing municipality is in inverse proportion to the corresponding economic circumstances while in direct proportion to what degree people stick to conventional modes of thought.Thus people in these areas must be imbued in modes of thought,regulated by law and supported in policy to develop the economy,convert their ideas and then finally solve this problem.
