Ceremony of Zhou Dynasty and the Love Poem in Guo Feng

《国风》中有大量的爱情诗,它们都与周礼有着某种联系。周代社会,“礼不下庶人”,所以民间自由恋爱较为普遍,出现了很多写恋爱、相思、欢会的诗;周礼强调“婚姻以时”,所以有一些写婚姻“即时”和“失时”的诗;风诗中的爱情悲剧,大都是受“父母之命”、“媒妁之言”的阻挠;弃妇诗,则是当时男尊女卑的集中反映。

There are floods of love poems in Guo Feng, which have come into contact with Ceremony of Zhou Dynasty.Firstly,in that society, “Ceremony does not descend to the common people”,so free love was widespread among the folk,and many poems were about amativeness,missing each other,sweat date etc.Secondly,Ceremony of Zhou Dynasty emphasized “marriage in time”,so some poems were about marriage “in time” and marriage “miss the opportunity”.Thirdly, many poems in Guo Feng were about tragedy love,which was suffering from the obstruction of “commanding of the parents” and “speech of the matchmaker ”.Lastly, the poem about discard woman concentrated on reflecting the case that men were senior to women at that times.
