A measuring system of revolution speed which is composed of single chip computer is introduced. Many measures including opto pulse generator with two signal outputs, frequency quadrupler, M/T measuring method of revolution speed, and parabolic extrapolation for speed measuring etc. have been adopted in the measuring system, thus the measuring accuracy is enhanced and more functions have been obtained. The operational principle is introduced and the design methods of hardware and software are described in detail.
