'Miaowu' is a significant theory in Chinese traditional aesthetics. And this theory comes into Chinese modern aesthetics with the introduction of Zhu Guangqian and Zong Baihua. Owing to Zhu and Zong' s contributions, 'Miaowu' is recognized importantly and usefully that it is a pivotal ontological ground in the experience of aesthetics. From the inspiration of Zhu and Zong, we may see that 'Miaowu' have a great influence in the process of construction of modern Chinese aesthetics.
