军阀混战和改朝换代频仍,造成了魏晋南北朝时期持续而巨大的社会动荡,对社会经济结构产生了重大而深刻的影响,传统的乡里秩序发生了质的变化,以城市为中心的经济模式很大程度上导致了城乡一体化的趋势。城市农业在此基础之上有了长足的发展,进而形成魏晋南北朝农业经济史上的一个显著特征。

The Wei’Jin,and Southern and Northern Dynasties experienced great changes in economicstructure as a result of continuous wars andturbulence andfrequent dynastic changes .Thus the traditionalorder of the country was fundamentally altered and gradually approachedtheintegration of urban and ruralareas .
