The Inhibitory Effects of Osthol on Central Nervous System

蛇床子素显著增强阈下催眠剂量戊巴比妥钠对小鼠的催眠作用，明显抑制醋酸所致的小鼠扭体反应，但不提高热板法致痛小鼠的痛阈。对安钠咖所致的小鼠自主活动增加有明显对抗作用，但不影响正常小鼠的自主活动。此外，蛇床子素还可降低蟾蜍离体坐骨神经动作电位的振幅。

Osthol (Ost)markedly potentiated the hypnotic effect induced by a low hypnotic threshold dose of pentobarbital mice writhing induced by the hot plate.Osthol antagonised the excitable activity induced by caffeine,but it did not influence the autonomic activity in mice of control group.Furthermore,osthol decreased the action potential amplitude of isolated sciatic nerves in toads.These results indicated that osthol had the inhibitory effects on central nervous system.
