On the Teaching Deviation and Restoration in Colleges

摘要 近十年来,我国大学教学出现了定位上的偏差。本科生的教学和研究生的教学都有不同程度的削弱,学术研究商品化,教学功能呈弱化趋势,科研呈现强势,教学人员服从行政人员的刚性管理,教学评价的指标缺乏科学性。提高教学的质量,加强课堂教学的力度,确立教师的主体地位,给教师充分的选择权,把教学变成主体间的对话,建立科学的教学评价体系是建设“世界一流大学”的重要一环。 In the last decade, some of Chinese colleges and universities have deviated in their teaching orientation. The problems lie in the following aspects: teaching is impaired respectively in both undergraduate part and postgraduate part; academic research is commercialized; while the function of teaching is weakened, scientific research is strengened; the teachers defer to the compelling administration rules; and the evaluation index are lack of scientific principles. On the basis of the above problems, this paper argues that the following strategies and steps can be regarded as the key processes for the establishment of 'a top university of the world': to improve the teaching quality in such schools, to strengthen the intensity of teaching, to establish teacher's host position, to give decision-making rights fully to teachers, to turn class into dialog between teachers & students and to set up a scientific evaluation index.
