摘要
西域无籽五号植株生长势较强,抗病、抗逆性强,丰产性好。果实圆形,皮色深墨绿,瓜瓤红色。中心可溶性固形物含量12.5%左右,高者可达14.3%。
Seedless Xiyu No. 5 is a new watermelon variety. It takes 90 days from sowing to maturity and 36-38 days from fruit setting to harvest. It's vigorous, resistant to disease and stress and high yield. It has round fruit with dark green rind, and red flesh. The sugar content is 12.5%, highest 14.3%. It has been grown successfully in a big scale in Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi and Hebei provinces of China. It was registered in Xinjiang in 2005 and the registered name is No.31 Xinyou.
