A method to realize browsing of the underground pipeline vector-grams on web is described in the paper, making the pipeline data to be shared and managed by the urban planning department and satisfying the requirement for data visit and inquiry of the pipeline information system by long-distance users. The paper a lso illustrates methods how to issue pipeline data and display and inquire vecto r-grams on web and how to create a dynamic link with the pipeline database by ap plying the ASP technique and the ODBC data source supervisor, realizing the inqu iry of pipeline data on a basis of the pipeline vector-grams.
