Considerations on Socialist Political Civilization(Ⅰ)

党的十六大明确提出“建设社会主义政治文明”,为发展社会主义民主政治指明了方向;政治文明就是人们改造社会所获得的政治成果的总和,主要表现为社会政治制度的优化和政治生活的改善;社会主义政治文明与以往社会的政治文明根本不同,它是一种新型的政治文明;在社会主义文明体系中,社会主义政治文明具有特别重要的地位;建设社会主义政治文明,必须首先明确社会主义政治文明建设的根本目标、根本途径和根本原则。

The sixteenth conference of CPC clearly puts forward “to build the socialism political civilization”,which indicates the direction to develop social democratic politics.Political civilization is the sum of political achievements which people gain in changing a society.It is mainly represented by the optimization of socialist political system and the improvement of political life.Socialist political civilization is a new type of political civilization,completely different from political civilization of other types in history.Socialist political civilization stands at an important place in the system of social civilization.It should be made sure about the goal,the way and the basic rule in building the socialist political civilization.
