摘要
本文介绍了一种由PC/XT和三片TMS32020组成的主从式共享全局存贮器多处理器系统.主机PC/XT用于系统控制,三片TMS32020作为数据处理单元.各处理器之间配置有完备的I/O通讯口、中断和状态控制。整个系统设计灵活,可简单地配置为SIMD或MIMD系统.文中还讨论了系统设计和实现中出现的一些问题及解决方法.最后,通过实例对系统作了简单评价.
This paper describes a master slave multiprocessor system composed of a PC/XT andthree TMS32020s. A globle memory (GM) is shared by the PC/XT and TMS32020s. Themaster employs a PC/XT controlling the system operation, and three TMS32020s areused as a data processing unit. In addition, I/O ports communication, interruption andstate control are provided among processors. Being flexibly designed, the system can be simply used as a SIMD or MIMDsystems. Problems encountered in system design and implementation and ways to solvethem are discussed. Finally, an application example is given to evaluate the system.
