摘要
织女星网格(VEGAGrid)是一项由中国科学院计算技术研究所领导的科研项目,旨在开发创建网格系统和网格应用的关键技术。VEGAGOS是织女星网格的重要组成部分,对VEGAGOS的分析和评测是对织女星网格性能进行评测的基础。该文搭建了一个基于VEGAGOS环境的典型网格应用,通过它测试GOS的网络延迟和吞吐率。同时提出GOS的性能分析指标,并使用该指标对实验数据进行分析,结合非性能标准,为验证VEGA原理提供理论和事实依据。
The VEGA Grid is a research project conducted at Institute of Computing Technology,Chinese Academy.It aims to develop key techniques that are essential for building grid systems and applications.Analysis and evaluation of the VEGA GOS,which is an infrastructure of the VEGA Grid,is the foundation of the VEGA Grid's performance evaluation.This paper constructs an experimental application based on the VEGA GOS,and then measures its network overhead and throughput.It also proposes several performance evaluation standards of the VEGA GOS.Finally,it analyzes the data obtained from the experimental application and provides the theoretic and practical basis for verifying the VEGA principles along with the standards.
