China's First Digital Pipeline Moves Forward Completely

摘要 The construction of China's first digital natural gas pipeline—Jining Branchof the West-East Gas Pipeline— has been accelerated completely. Up to May 8, the accumulativewelded length of whole line exceeded 612 km, more than two thirds of the total length of the trunkpipeline of Jining Branch. Jining Branch, as a continuous construction project of the West-East GasPipeline Project, is another major project of long-distance pipeline transportation projects inChina. It runs through the three provinces of Hebei, Shandong and Jiangsu from north to south, andlinks the No.2 Shaanxi-Beijing Pipeline with the West-East Gas Pipeline, and also serves as areserve line to ensure both pipelines, it is, rather than, the first digital and multifunctionalpipeline in China. This pipeline includes one trunk pipeline and nine branches, with the totallength of 1498 km, and it will supply natural gas to Nantong, Xuzhou, Lianyungang, Linyi, Jining,Jinan, Wucheng, Dezhou and Hengshui regions, and etc. along the line.
