Greatwall Drilling Company Ltd.(GWDC), the largest international drillingcontractor in China, set historic records in all its marketing and operation indices in 2004lunching a leap in its development over consecutive 4 years after its reorganization in 2001. In2004,the volume of newly signed contracts reached US$394.75 million, a 15% increase over 2003. Thetotal volume of performed contracts stood at US$394.33 million, a 22% increase over 2003. Theoperating revenue was RMB3043.88 million yuan(or US$367.76 million), a 36% increase over 2003. Theprofit increased significantly in comparison with last year.
