This paper discusses the historical and geographical reasons of Swiss foreign policy of permanent neutrality. The policy of permanent neutrality not only brings huge economic and political benefits, but also makes itself one of the few countries in the world that have no wars for several centuries, while making great contributions to world peace. It has made geographically small Switzerland become a 'great-nation', and many other countries praise it as the Garden of Eden and try to learn from it.
