摘要
从著名华裔作家谭恩美的畅销小说《喜福会》入手,通过小说中以四对母女为代表的第一代华裔移民与他们的子女,即第二代移民之间的心理隔膜、感情冲突及种种爱爱怨怨讨论了中国文化与美国文化的差异与碰撞,以及这两种截然不同的文化之间在母女情深中的相互兼容。
From the psychological estrangement and emotional conflicts between the first generation of Chinese Americans, and their children, the second generation, represented by four groups of mother and daughter in the Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, this paper discusses the difference and clashes between Chinese and American Culture, and the cultural compatibility completed in mother and daughter’s love juxtaposed between these two cultures.
