The Contents of Culture in English Teaching and Methods

提高对中外文化差异的敏感性和鉴别能力,培养初步的跨文化交际水平,是现代英语教学中的难点之一。目前,对中学英语文化导入的教学研究还处于初步阶段。英语的文化导入包括干扰语言交际的文化因素,非语言交际的表达方式,词语的文化内涵,中西方价值观念及思维习惯上的差异等内容。

It is one of the difficulties in the modern English teaching to improve the sensitivity and discrimination to the differences between China and foreign countries and to train the preliminary trans-regional cultural communication . At present , study of the cultural in English teaching is in a tentative stage . It includes some cultural factors of disturbing communication , non-language communicating expressions , intension of words ' culture , different values and thinking habits between China and foreign countries , and so on.
