Technical Revolution and Required Qualities of Technical Students

本文以机械工业高新技术的发展为典型,分析了当前国内外技术革命的形势,提出了工科大学生应培养的基本素质,对“德、识、才、学”的深刻含义作了有针对性的阐述,特别强调了创造性是工程师素质的核心,强调了建立合理的知识结构和运用信息论做好工作的重要意义。

Citing the development of new and high technology inmechinery industry as instance,this paper analyses how technical revolution is being carried out at home and abroad and puts forward what basic qualities technical students should try to have under such situation . A discussion is devoted to the meanings of 'Noble Moral Charcter ,Keen Insight ,Great Ability and Much Learning, 'with emphasis on the importance of creativeness and the mastery of information science ,the former of which is the center of the necessary qualities of an engineer and the lattor of which is the foundation of a wellbuilt knowledge structure .
