摘要
为了解大学英语教学的现状,学校举行了一次竞赛。从一道题(英译汉)的成绩来看,翻译教学的效果不容乐观。本文通过详实的例证分析学生在翻译过程中存在的主要问题并提出了解决对策。
An English contest was held in the author's institute in order to gauge the effectiveness of current English teaching. The results showed that much had yet to be desired about current translation teaching. The translation problems students encountered in the contest were also discussed and solutions proposed.
