IPTV是一种以家用电视机或个人电脑为显示终端,通过互联网提供包括电视节目在内的内容丰富的多媒体服务业务。介绍了视频压缩、流媒体、内容传送和组播等几项关键技术。对IPTV的市场分析结果表明,其发展前景值得期待,不过,良好发展前景与市场开拓的困难是并存的。
IPTV provides with abundant multimedia services on television or personal computer through internet. This paper introduces several key technologies like video compression streaming media content transmission multicast etc. Based on the market research IPTV has a good prospect. However there are many difficulties in cultivating the IPTV market.
