Asian-Pacific petrochemical industry has characteristics such as great consumption of petrochemicals, scared raw materials, small size of units, thus being faced with challenges as follow: insufficient supply ability, the rise of material cost and prominent problems in environmental protection and safety. The article puts forward measures should be taken to cope with these challenges.
