摘要
在后印象派技法的深刻影响下,伍尔夫要设计一种与绘画相近的、富于创造力的文学形式。在《到灯塔去》中,她用言语做涂料,给我们描绘出了一幅拉姆齐一家及其朋友的生动画面。伍尔夫探寻对精神冲突和心理活动的本质把握,她运用光线与色彩来增强想象空间,更好地表现人物和场景,沟通平静祥和抑或悸动紧张、动荡不安的心灵,大胆地开创了新的实验小说形式。
In To the Lighthouse , Woolf's search for spiritual essences is expressed in light and color because of the effects of Post-impressionism painting techniques, and she shows us a vivid picture of the Ramsays and their friends by using her special way that is a new form for her experimental novels.
