十六大报告中的有关论述,将职业教育放在全面建设小康社会的全局之中,明确提出了职业教育的发展方向.新时期的职业教育只有坚持向终身化、全民化、高效化方向发展,才能更有效地服务于全面建设小康社会的总体目标.

The statements in the report of the sixteenth people's congress make vocational education be in the overall situation of constructing well -to-do society in an all-round way and set forth the developing direction of vocational education .Only when vocational education in new stage stick to the developing di-rection of the whole life,the whole people and high efficiency,can it serve effectively the whole target of constructing well-to-do society in an all-round way.
