名词化是概念隐喻中词汇语法层次上的隐喻,通过名词化,过程、特性、环境、小句等都可以由名词来体现,名词化在书面语中,尤其在科技英语中大量存在,分析了名词化的结构和语篇功能。

This paper discussed a very important kind of phenomenon in grammatical metaphor-nominalization.Nominalization is the grammatical metaphor on the lexical level in ideational metaphor.By nominalization,process,quality,circumstance and clause all can be realized by noun.Nominalization exists widely in written English,especially in technological Enlish.This paper mainly discussed the structure and textual function of nominalization.
