摘要
隐喻是一种语言表达手法,通常用指某物(A)的词或词组来指代他物(B),从而暗示它们之间的相似之处(C)。其中,某物(A)是本题,他物(B)是喻体,而他们之间的相似之处(C)是喻底。人类在日常生活中大量地使用隐喻,在小说这种语言文本里面,各种表现手法尤为多,其中便包括隐喻。以鲁迅先生的短篇小说为例,分析隐喻在这些语篇中的功能。
Metaphor is a figure of speech in which a word or phr ase that ordinarily designates one thing: (A) is used to designate another (B), thus making an implicit comparison, in which “one thing (A)” is the reality, “another [thing] (B)” is the target, the similarity on which they (A and B) are compared is the ground(C). Metaphor is frequently used in daily life, especi ally in novels, which excel in various figures of speech, including metaphor. Th e paper explores the textual function of metaphor by analyzing Lu Xun’s several short novels.
