On the Unique Pursuit of Western Modernism Painting to “Artistic Reality”

西方绘画艺术的发展经历了一个不断否定和变化的过程,如果从其本质和对“艺术真实”的追求来看,大致可以分为3个阶段:古典主义、现代主义、后现代主义。这3种绘画样式各有其特点,而且古典主义也得到了大部分人的理解,可现代主义虽历经百年且与后现代主义并存,但能理解它的还只是一部分人,这其中的原因是多方面的。如果揭开现代主义绘画那浓雾般的面纱观其本质,是完全可以理解的。对传统艺术的否定和对“艺术真实”的独特追求,是现代主义绘画各流派之间的相同之处。

Western printing art goes through constant denial and change.It can be rouguly divided into three priods:Classieism,Modernism,and Pos tmodernism according to its essence and “artistic reality” pursuit.The three s tages have their own characteristics.While Classicism has been accepted by most of the people,Modernism can be understood only by a few, although it has cooxist ed with Postmodornism a hundred years.Many aspects are responsible for the fact. It’s totally reasonable if the essence of modernist unveiled.Different schools of art have somethings in common——denial of traditional art and original pursu it of “artistic reality”.
