<Abstrcat> Dostoyevsky is an extraordinary writer whose works present crime problems from different perspectives. Crime and punishment become a basic theme in Dostoyevsky's works. This paper approaches the reasons for his concern for the crime from three aspects:personal experiences,social situation and the conception of original sin from the religion ideas.
