各高校形成自己鲜明的办学特色,对于高等教育的改革和发展具有重大而深远的意义,应高度重视和正确认识办学特色。任何学校的办学特色,都应体现独到的教育理念、学校成员认同的规章制度、独特的优良传统和校风、良好的社会影响和效果四个方面的内涵。将办学成绩、学校共性、学校定位和特质、特点当成办学特色,是当前认识和总结办学特色时容易出现的偏差。

For each college, to form its own salient characteristic has greatly and far-reaching significant in the reformation and development of higher education. Therefore, every college should attach great importance to and form correct attitude towards it. Every college’s characteristic of running school should embody their special ideal, the regulations recognized by all the staffs, the unique excellent tradition and moral and fine social influence and effect. At present, to take the achievements, common characters, orientation, characters or even features as their characteristics of running college is one of the deviations easily made while identifying and summarizing the characteristic of running colleges.
