Distribution Character of Fossil Soil and Significance to Paleoclimate in the Middle Reaches of the Yellow River

本文对黄河中游地区古土壤分布特征提出了一些新的认识。该区有过约50决温湿到干冷的古气候波动,形成了约50层古土壤,并将其划分为5个古土壤组合带。

New knowledge of distribution character of fossil soil in the Middle reaches of the Yellow River has been presented in this paper. there were 50 times of paleoclimate changes form being moist and warm to cold in the region, and 50 layers of fossil soil,which can be devided into 5 asso- ciated belts of fossil soil, formed in this process.
