摘要
劳动强度变化范围受到自然的和社会的限制。劳动者基于追求消费和免除劳作之苦的内在动力,面对来自外界的竞争压力,会在限制范围内对劳动强度进行调整。促使劳动者进行劳动弱化的因素主要是科学技术的进步,而促使劳动者进行劳动强化的因素则是多方面的,起决定性作用的因素是决定劳动者地位的社会制度和激烈竞争的国际秩序。从历史变迁来看,人类社会的劳动强度并没有随着生产力的迅速提高而显著降低,这值得我们深思。
There are physical and social borders of the change of labor intensity. Within such borders, laborers have impulsion to change their labor intensity for consuming more goods, enjoying more leisure due to the extrinsic pressure of competitions. In the causes of lowering labor intensity, the progress of science and technique takes decisive role. There are more causes heightening labor intensity than lowering labor intensity. The crucial causes are the social institution which decides the social status of the laborer and the severely competing international order. In the view of historical change, the labor intensity of our society hasn't lowered in proper speed as the social productivity has progressed rapidly, which is worthy to ponder over.
