Linguistic Features of Female Language and Language Sexism in English

语言学研究的结果表明,男性和女性所使用的语言是有区别的。本文从分析女性语言在词汇、句法和语音语调三个方面的特点出发,继而探讨英语中对女性的语言性别岐视在词汇和语义上的种种表现,并试图找出导致这些特点和现象的生理、心理和社会因素。

As is shown in linguistic studies, the languages that males and females use are different. This paper tries to explore the features of volabulary and syntactic structures, pronunciations and tones. It then explores the factors are considered as the reasons to the existence of such features and phenomenon.
